Wet-Nose-Wisdom….that pretty much sums it up – your animals will amaze you!
Having a reading with me is a little different than what you may be expecting. I work directly with your energy as well as your animal’s energy. You are half of the equation, so it is important that we intuitively check in with you so that we can learn what is really in your heart and mind. That’s the first step to gaining a deep understanding of the connection you share with your animal.
The second step is to intuitively check in with your animal’s energy. We’ll spend some time learning about likes and dislikes, training issues if there are any, and other physical-world topics. We’ll then move to the “Soul Level” where we can begin to answer deeper and more meaningful questions such as ‘What’s the meaning of my animals doing those strange behaviors?’, ‘Why are they in my life?’, ‘What lessons are they teaching me?’, and ‘What’s really important here?’ Soul Level discussions range in scope – but are always particularly relevant to just you and your animals.
I have found that the animals who share our lives are doing so for a reason – they are here to teach us lessons that are important for our evolution – to help us grow into fulfilling our life purposes. Animals are incredibly wise and are capable of offering good advice in loving and compassionate ways. When you slow down and listen, you’ll begin to grow tremendously by learning to work with your animals. I have chosen to focus on the link of your animal’s relationship to your purpose in life – what are you here to do, and how are they helping you to achieve your goals.
Growing up as I did (see below if you are interested in the whole story!) has allowed me to become comfortable with saying things like they are, but in truly loving and compassionate way. I’m constantly looking for the brightest and sunniest explanation to the topic at hand, and generally have an extremely positive outlook. I strive to be positive at all times, but also strive to be truthful and honest in the greater interpretation of each situation. I can tell you like it is, but with my own filter of honesty and optimism.
I work hard to pay attention, hear you, and understand you. I am grounded and focused, so that it is possible for you to zero in on what you need to hear from your animals and what you need to learn in each moment for your highest good. I work towards weaving together the spiritual truths of your animals so that you can understand the information with clarity and peace, and are able to understand what helps to expand your relationship. I strive to guide you to recognize your strengths, to embrace your individuality, and to honor your calling to follow your heart’s desires.
I’d love the opportunity to get to know you and your animals!
The whole story:
As a little girl, I had a crazy and fabulous existence in many ways….. I am the youngest of four, and the only girl…my three older brothers kept me on my toes. The house was always incredibly vibrant – we all ran around, making noise, with crazy interactions, brothers fighting, me getting in between, loud voices, big-family pandemonium. While I am incredibly thankful for this – shall I call it – ‘vibrant’ upbringing, it came with its fair set of challenges as well. It is funny, how simple things like being the only girl in a family might define a person, but that is what ended up happening. I was the only girl, and the youngest, so throughout my life when I acted differently than the boys (I suspect that all girls will act a little differently than boys)….my Mother always thought something was wrong with me because I was different.
I grew up wearing my brother’s hand me downs and being quite a tom-boy – I could build a fort and climb a tree just as fast as my brothers. I looked just like a little boy…..when my family took a big trip to go to Disneyland, we actually met Mickey Mouse. I was SO thrilled, I couldn’t even stand it! He took one look at all of the kids standing around him – my three brother’s and me, – and he said, “Oh my! Look at all of these handsome boys!”….and my heart sank to the bottom of the ocean. And then, Mickey Mouse turned and looked at me, and said, “Oh! And this beautiful little girl too!” My heart flew to the moon. Mickey Mouse actually could tell I was a girl!
The Animals Who Helped to Defined Me…..
Life was exciting and glorious and challenging and tremendous for all of the years that I was growing up. Because I was ‘different’, and because I’ve always been a very sensitive person, I often found solace in the far back corner of our basement, where I kept my three beautiful Guinea Pigs, in their big wooden ‘house’, with fresh woodchips, and a heat lamp. I spent hours and hours, lying on the floor, with a Guinea Pig sitting on my tummy, warm and wonderful, squeaking quietly….such paradise for me.
My favorite little girl was named Squeakie. She and I spent hours and hours together. Now that I look back at it, I’m sure I was having great conversations with her. She was an incredibly true friend. She inspired me to draw – many poster-sized pencil drawings of Guinea Pigs graced our basement playroom. This begun my lifelong interest in art, resulting in a first career in design, and definitely my self-definition as an artistic and free spirit.
It is important to tell you that my family often went to a mountain cabin over the weekends during the winter. We would all pile in our yellow Volvo Station Wagon and head off to the local ski hill, where we would stay from Friday night through Sunday evening. My family was pretty big (six people total), and we were very careful to close down our house, and turn down the heat to save money every time we left the house. One cold winter weekend, my Dad turned down the heat so far that when I came home from the cabin, and ran down to see my beautiful pets – two of the three had frozen to death. Only my little girl Squeakie was still alive…..holding on to her last strands of life….waiting for me I believe, to come home and hold her. Squeakie gave me a beautiful gift – she had a most dignified death – she gave me the gift of taking her last breath while I held her close. I felt her Spirit rise from her body. This was truly her most wonderful gift. I believe that this moment was the beginning of the definition of my current self – an animal lover, but more….truly connected to the spirituality of animals, and their innate connection with humans. This moment was the beginning of my definition of who I have become in this life…
Freedom of Religion….
My parents both grew up in rigidly religious homes. They went to Sunday school every week – the family joke is that my Dad didn’t miss one Sunday in seven years when he was growing up. Interestingly, this led to a home free of religious constraints. It was very important for my parents that all of their children have the chance to choose their own way of thinking and their own method for intellectually making all loose ends tie up appropriately – how does the Earth work, does Heaven exist, what happens when you die, is there more out there?….
I thrived in this free environment, and learned as much as I could about varying religions. Ultimately I have settled happily on the understanding that there is indeed more to life that meets the eye, and that Animals and Humans play important roles for each other. The more I learn from the Animals, the more I understand what gifts they bring to humanity. I have found that each person I speak with, who is emotionally tied to an animal, is receiving gifts from their animal – and vice versa. We are important to each other, and tied inextricably.
My First Husband….
After a short time in my first career right out of college, I taped a photo of a friend’s
Greater Swiss Mountain Dog onto the bottom of my computer monitor….and there was NO looking back. Within six months I had my new puppy – a 9 week old, 20 pound Greater Swiss Mountain Dog. I named him Summit. He and I had a love affair like no other. To this day I still call him “my first husband”, which fortunately, is OK with my human husband!! Summit was by my side through everything in my single-girl’s life, and he was true-blue. He taught me about caring about something more than I cared about myself, he showed me how far I’d go to take care of another living thing. I often describe Summit as a fine Italian race car – incredibly beautiful, but always in the shop. What I mean by this is that Summit really struggled with his health. At about two, he became severely epileptic, having cluster seizures that were all but uncontrollable. He had a strange stomach issue where he couldn’t absorb protein, and his heavy bones caused him to walk with a limp after being pulled out of alignment one too many times. I think back on my beautiful Summit with all of his health challenges, and how he was always happy despite it all. Summit has since told me that he doesn’t ever think of his health challenges, he only thinks of the lessons that the challenges taught us both. What a gift he was to me. I’ve been in love with all animals ever since….
After Summit, I have always had dogs. Each one teaching me lessons upon the lessons taught to me by earlier dogs. I want to have cats, and horses, and pigs, and cows, and goats, and chickens, and llamas….you get the picture!
Taking My Lessons Further….
Throughout my time with the animals, I’ve searched for a deeper relationship. I’ve discovered several teachers in Animal Communication throughout the years, and taken many classes. As I mentioned above, I have found that the animals in our lives are here for a reason – they are here to teach us lessons that are important for our evolution, and we are here for them for many different reasons as well. What I have chosen to focus on is the link of your animal’s relationship to your purpose in life – what are you here to do, and how are they helping you to achieve your goals.
What I Have Learned That I Have to Offer….
I think that my upbringing of being a very sensitive girl in a fairly zany family, and having to sleuth out the right path for me to follow all by myself has allowed me to become comfortable with saying things like they are, but in truly loving and compassionate way. I’m constantly looking for the brightest and sunniest explanation to current issues, and generally have an extremely positive outlook. I strive to be positive at all times, but also strive to be truthful and honest in the greater interpretation of each situation. I can tell you like it is, but with my own filter of honesty and optimism.
I work hard to pay attention, hear you, and understand you. I am grounded and focused, so that it is possible for you to zero in on what you need to hear from your animals and what you need to learn in this moment for your highest good. I work towards weaving together the spiritual truths of your animals so that you can understand the information with clarity and peace, and are able to understand what deepens your bonds with your animals and what helps to expand your relationship. I strive to guide you to recognize your strengths, to embrace your individuality, and to honor your calling to follow your heart’s desires.
My Education Continues….
As I continue to become aware of the Animals’ gifts to us, I have become increasingly
drawn to the study of Universal Energy – how we all connect and interact with each other on a Universal Scale – and how each entity’s energy can affect the other’s. This has led me down the path of various forms of Energy awareness and healing. This is joyous and life affirming. I continue my education from the Animals always. Each intuitive moment is a gift, and I am thankful.
My goal is to share the gifts of the animals. Each animal has tremendous wisdom to share with us – each in his or her own way. The fun part is uncovering it! Every message is sent to you from a place of Love. We can work together to uncover your animal’s messages for you, so that you may grow from their wisdom. You will thank them for it, and they will thank you too!
